Top leader hosts new foreign ambassadors

He expressed his belief that the ambassadors will bring into play their important bridging role to develop relations with Việt Nam.

HÀ NỘI — Party General Secretary and President Nguyễn Phú Trọng received new foreign ambassadors who came to present their credentials in Hà Nội on Friday.

The Ambassador of Oman Saleh Mohamed Ahmed Al Saqri, Ambassador of Turkey Haldun Tekneci, and Ambassador of Japan Yamada Takio all attended.

The leader spoke highly of the sound relations between Việt Nam and those countries.

He expressed his belief that the ambassadors would bring into play their important bridging role to develop relations with Việt Nam.

Việt Nam was taking drastic measures to resume production, develop the economy and improve local living standards, the leader added, stressing that Viet Nam would continue enhancing ties with other countries in the spirit of being friends with all in the international community.

Emphasising the important roles of ambassadors in relations with Việt Nam, Trọng said "the Vietnamese State always creates good conditions" for them to fulfill their missions. — VNS
