A record of more than 120 delegates questioned Minister of Science and Technology in his two-hour session concerning issues around science and technology

Sơn affirmed that Việt Nam always attaches importance to developing its comprehensive relations with France, through all the Government, legislature and party channels.

The diplomat highlighted that Vietnamese Government and UNDP share a thorough understanding of the central importance of government ownership, and of public sector administrative and technical capacity as well as the criticality of learning from policy and programmatic experiments, and sharing lessons learned.

They also vowed to maintain cooperation mechanisms, including resuming the strategic security and defence dialogue at the deputy ministerial level between the two countries’ foreign and defence ministries, as well as holding political consultations at the department head level between the two foreign ministries.

Sơn vowed to partner with agencies concerned to best meet the legitimate aspirations of the Vietnamese communities worldwide and in France, and wished that they would continue making positive contributions to the host country while popularising Vietnamese identity globally.
