POND'S Launches World's First AI-Powered Skin Diagnostic Chatbot

New Skin Advisor Live (SAL) bot integrates rich clinical research data with diagnosis technology to take the confusion out of diagnosing common skincare concerns

 

SINGAPORE - Media OutReach - 18 July 2019 - Beauty brand POND'S today announced it is launching the world's firstAI-powered skin diagnostic chatbot which, using a combination of advanced AIand skin diagnosis technology, will help consumers combat skincare concernsacross four main areas -- uneven skin tone, spots, pimples and wrinkles. 

 

The Skin Advisor Live bot, named 'SAL', embracesGoogle's highly superior neuro-linguistic programming and BrighTex BioPhotonics's (BTBP) DeepTag skindiagnosis technology to offer consumers advanced skin diagnosesthrough an intuitive and fun chat.

 

BTBP's DeepTag technology- a patented skin map technology from Silicon Valley -- and clinical research data from The POND'S Institute will be utilizedto deliver skin diagnoses of unparalleled accuracy and of a higherconsistency match rate compared to dermatologists.

 

Using their highly customizeddiagnosis from SAL, combined with product recommendations backed by years ofin-depth research by POND'S, consumers are able to select a reliable personalskincare product and regime recommendation to help meet their particular skincareneeds. 

 

SAL is available inIndonesia via messenging app, LINE, and Argentina, Columbia, United ArabEmirates and South Africa via Facebook Messenger.

Consumers upload a selfie, complete a shortquiz and their customized results will be ready in under a minute.  

How does SAL diagnose skin?  

Skin will be analyzed byBTBP DeepTag's advancedAI technology and results will be classified across four indicators of skinhealth: uneven skin tone, spots, pimples and wrinkles.
