ASEAN Children Festival brings kids together

A colourful art party featuring music and dance performances by children from seven ASEAN countries, Korea and China to be held on Thursday night will open the ASEAN+ Children Festival to celebrate International Children’s Day June 1.

International recognition for Vietnamese public art

Artist Nguyễn Thu Thủy and her partners from New Hanoi Arts Group won a bronze at the 10th International Design Awards (IDA) in Los Angeles for a mural of Vietnamese trees and flowers at Đà Nẵng International Airport. Culture Vulture interviews her about awards and her interest in public arts.

Pre-Sa Huỳnh Culture items found in Đà Nẵng

Forty-eight stone tools and thousands of ceramic pieces dating back to the pre-Sa Huỳnh Culture (3,000-3,500 years-old) were found during a third excavation in the garden of the Khuê Bắc Communal House in Đà Nẵng City.

Kids hit the catwalk in City

More than 20 children and teenagers will perform on the catwalk at a charity event tonight (May 31) in HCM City that will raise funds for children with disabilities living at Hướng Dương Shelter.
