The festival took place at the HCM City Youth Culture House at 4 Phạm Ngọc Thạch Street in District 1 and was organised by the Hồ Chí Minh Communist Youth Union in collaboration with the the city’s Department of Science and Technology.

It created an opportunity for the youth to introduce their products, models and ideas in the fields of scientific research, technological application and fine arts, promoting creativity in young people.

During two days, the festival featured many activities and programmes, such as scientific competitions in design, application and creativity, painting and photo contests, exhibitions displaying start-up products, STEM Day, book exchange programme, and many others.

In addition, it also included seminars, talk shows, dialogues and forums where participants could exchange, learn, share and discuss scientific and technological knowledge, start-ups and industry 4.0 technologies.

Ten young talents in the city who have excellent achievements in the fields of teaching, study, scientific research, culture, arts, and sport received scholarship awards from the city’s Children Sponsoring Fund, worth a total of VNĐ200 million (US$8,810). — VNS
