Emerging film director likes to frighten audience

Film director Trần Hữu Tấn made a name for himself with thriller movies including Bắc Kim Thang (Home Sweet Home); Rừng Thế Mạng (Survive) and Chuyện Ma Gần Nhà (Vietnamese Horror Story). His latest movie, Vietnamese Horror Story will be released on February 11 nationwide. Reporter Nguyễn Bình spoke to Tấn about his work.

Black chicken a tasty speciality of the Mông ethnic group

Despite a thousand years of nomadic life, the Mông ethnic group in Điện Biên’s Tủa Chùa Village still considers black chicken a valuable part of many tasty dishes. The chicken, named Ka Đu in the Mông language, is always presented as a gift when children get married, said villager Giàng A Lùng.
