Local paintings go on display in Đà Nẵng

An exhibition of 48 wood carvings; wood sculptures; and oil, acrylic and watercolour paintings that were created by 44 artists are on display for the public at the central city’s Fine Arts Museum.

The past and the present: expats in Ba Vì

National Anthem in AFF Cup matches no longer to be muted

Next Sports, the copyright holder of the AFF Cup 2020 and the YouTube channel that broadcasts the tournament live in Việt Nam, has announced that the Vietnamese anthem will be played during the national team's subsequent matches, instead of being muted like against Laos on December 6.

Renowned song-writer passes away, aged 72

Song-writer Nguyễn Phú Quang, who was famous for songs about Hà Nội, passed away on December 8 at the age of 72 after undergoing two years  of treatment for diabetes.
