Hà Nội authorities approved a plan to construct a new hotel in September at 22-32 Lê Thái Tổ Street, formerly home to the two-storey supermarket Intimex. The approval, however, has raised eyebrows among architectural specialists.

An exhibition entitled Nói trong bóng tối (Speaking in the Dark) by two artists Trương Hồng Ân and Ngô Ngọc Hương will take place at Nhà Sàn Collective, Lương Yên Street, Hai Bà Trưng District on July 24.

The ancient city of Hội An will expand the area for walking streets to Hoàng Diệu and Hội An market – outside of the old quarter – in an effort to create more space for tourists and ease the crowding of tourists in old quarters.
