HÀ NỘI — Three talented Vietnamese musicians will unite for a night of music at Việt Nam National Academy of Music’s Grand Hall in Hà Nội on July 26.

The featured musicians are violinist Đỗ Phương Nhi, pianist Nguyễn Việt Trung, and cellist Trần Hồng Nhung.

The concert will consist of solo performances and trios of masterpieces by world composers such as Camille Saint Saens (France), David Popper (Hungary), Beethoven (Germany) and Sergei Rachmaninoff (Russia).

The highlight of the concert will be Trio Elegiaque, which is known for its sweet yet mournful expression.

“This will be the first time I play music with pianist Trung. I admire him a lot,” said violinist Nhi. “I’m overjoyed to have the rare chance to perform with two talented musicians like Trung and Nhung.”

The young musicians are studying abroad. The concert is a chance for the artists to play music together during their summer vacation.
