HÀ NỘI — An exhibition on the theme of drag culture will open at Heritage Space from September 17.

Entitled Le Papillon – Butterflies, the exhibition is the first of its kind in Việt Nam to focus on drag culture. The show is a journey of prideful and passionate ‘egos’, a journey of caterpillars breaking out of their cocoons.

The exhibition is part of a project of the same name, including paintings, graphic design and clay models by 14 artists and designers from Hà Nội and HCM City.

In response to Hanoi Pride Week 2018, Le Papillon - Butterflies contributes to building a safe space free of prejudices, friendly to the LGBTQ+ community.

The exhibition will open from September 17 to 20, from 9am to 6pm. Heritage Space is at 6 Nguyễn Hoàng Street, Mỹ Đình Ward, Từ Liêm District. — VNS
