Quang Ninh – The Ha Long Carnival, a highlight of the Ha Long – Quang Ninh Tourism Week 2019, opened in Bai Chay and Hon Gai tourism area in the northern province of Quang Ninh on April 28.

A street parade with music performances at Ha Long Park, Bai Chay Ward, drew the participation of over 400 professional and amateur artists, including 34 from other countries.

Earlier in the day, a similar parade was held at FLC Ha Long resort complex with more than 100 domestic and foreign artists.

A music show themed “From Wonders to Wonders” was live broadcast on Vietnam Television.

Concluding the event was an artistic low-range fireworks show at the resort complex.

The Ha Long – Quang Ninh tourism week 2019 featured nine cultural, sports and tourism activities in Ha Long and Mong Cai cities, Van Don and Co To districts and 11 activities in other areas from April 25 – May 25.
