According to local elders, there was no market in the commune until 2014, when Sin Suối Hồ village was recognised as a Cultural Village.

Before the market was formed, locals had to walk 30km to the centre of Mường So Commune or to San Thàng Market in Lai Châu City. The market here has made life easier.
