HÀ NỘI — A special stamp, celebrating the upcoming second summit between US President Donald Trump and DPRK chairman leader Kim Jong Un and transmitting the messages “Việt Nam – A safe and friendly destination” and “Hà Nội - A City for Peace”, was released today, February 26.

The stamp is being produced by the Ministry of Information and Communications in co-operation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The stamp was designed by painters Nguyễn Du và Tô Minh Trang from the Vietnam Post and features two hands shaking with flags of the US and North Korea on the background of peaceful bamboo range – a typical image of Vietnamese countryside. The stamp also has the Vietnamese flag and peace dove with the phrase "partnership for sustainable peace".

It measures 43mm x 32mm and is priced at VNĐ4,000 (US$0.20).

Vina Post has set up a stall to serve post and stamp collection demands at the Việt Xô Culture Friendship Palace for the more than 3,000 journalists working at the site during the summit. — VNS
