HÀ NỘI — As many as 30 photographs by students under the guidance of Chuối Photography and photographer Lê Phương featuring children with autism will be displayed in Hà Nội on June 17.

Titled Bừng Sáng (Shining Up), the exhibition is being organised by the Mariposa Project and aims to raise people’s awareness on autism, which is increasing across the globe.

Each photo displayed at the exhibition tells a story, a message on autism that the students participating in the project want to spread. The exhibition will also display paintings done by autistic children.

The Mariposa Project is a non-profit community project on mental and neuro diseases initiated by the Nguyễn Thị Minh Khai secondary school and UBest Education organisation. The project involves students in Hà Nội. Its mission is to spread good values so that children can live a fulfilling life.

The exhibition will be held at the Hoàng Gia Event Centre, first floor, 39, Nguyễn Thị Định Street, Thanh Xuân District. — VNS
