LÂM ĐỒNG  Lâm Đồng Province’s Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism on Sunday introduced its new tourism code of conduct.

The code, which consists of two sections, outlines social norms and responsibilities of participating parties in the tourism sector, including tourists, travel agencies, tour guides, accommodation facilities and local residents, among others.

Each party is required to follow different sets of guidelines, which aim to demonstrate the friendliness and hospitality of Đà Lạt and Lâm Đồng Province.

The code will also be implemented in other areas with tourism potential such as Bảo Lộc City and Lạc Dương District.

Lâm Đồng Province has about 1,300 accommodation facilities, 100 tourists attractions and 58 travel agencies, as well as thousands of groups and individuals engaging in tourism services.

For this year, Đà Lạt estimates it will reach a total of 5.9 million tourists, with 400,000 of them international visitors. — VNS
