ĐÀ NẴNG — Three arts envoys – Sharath Patel, Stephanie Mulligan and Chris Vu – aka DJ Veseatile - will provide a sound and light training programme and performance at Da Nang’s Trưng Vương Theatre from August 14-18.
The US Consulate General, which ran a similar project in HCM City, said the programme includes a four-day workshop aimed at enhancing capacity for Vietnamese sound and light technicians and creates opportunities for future collaborations between Vietnamese and American professionals in the performing arts.
Trainees will have the chance to experience a series of workshops combining essential theory and hands-on practice, with participants operating state-of-the-art sound and light equipment. The training will also include soft skills to help technical teams improve communication skills and learn how to interact with clients.

Vietnamese rock band The Blue Sky and solo-rock guitarist Cao Đức Minh will take part in the live performance.
