A music band from Denmark will attend the Huế Festival – the largest biennial festival in Việt Nam on May 2 & 3.

The tour staged non-profit performances, provided health care services and encouraged people in the remote and mountainous areas to study. Lý spoke about the tour, which was held across 17 provinces and cities.

Some 17 works of seven best young architects are displayed at the first Sài Gòn Architects Exhibition which is being organised at the HCM City Architecture University up to May 5.

Streets and parks in HCM City will be alive with festivities in celebration of 41^st anniversary of the country’s Reunification Day (April 30) and Labour Day (May 1).

A special mountain market by ethnic groups in the northern province of Điện Biên will be set up on the outskirts of Hà Nội.

Đặng Văn Chu and several other witnesses of the country’s transition from the subsidy economy during the renewal period offered objects from this period to the National Museum of Vietnamese History. The objects will be displayed in August to mark 30 years since the country started the renewal process.   

Painter Nguyễn Quốc Dân said that portraying different human emotions is also a way to express his own sensations and viewpoint about life. The characteristic of these works is creating impressions through endless strokes, or “colour cords” in the painter’s words.

The city’s first Ornament Plant and Pet Festival is to take place from Wednesday to May 5 in Vinhomes Riverside ecological urban area in the Long Biên District.
