HÀ NỘI – Vietnamese violinist and lecturer Bùi Công Duy was named Honorary Professor of the Kazakh National University of Arts (KazUniArt).
The awarding ceremony is a part of the International Seminar of Rectors of Arts Schools to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the KazUniArt in Kazakhstan on April 26.
“The Việt Nam National Academy of Music (VNAM) is honoured to have a representative, Meritorious Artist Duy, who was awarded the Honorary Professor title of the KazUniArt,” said Lê Anh Tuấn, director of VNAM.

“My dream has come true,” Duy said at the ceremony.
“It is a recognition and an encouragement for me. The world-legend violinists and pedagogues who I admire a lot were honoured here. And I wished I would be here one day.”
