QUẢNG NINH – Pictures and clips on social networks on Friday morning show a dolphin swimming at Luồn Cave in Hà Long Bay of Quảng Ninh Province.

Recently, dolphins, including white dolphins, continuously appeared in the waters of Quảng Ninh such as Hạ Long Bay, Bái Tử Long Bay and Cô Tô Island.

Bùi Trọng Anh, the person who filmed the dolphin, said that at about 7am on Friday he saw the dolphin swimming on the ocean then about 10 minutes later, it gradually moved away.

Although he has been working on Hạ Long Bay for many years, this is the first time Trọng Anh was lucky enough to witness a dolphin swimming comfortably like that.

Previously, on March 27, there were two white whales appearing in Vân Đồn.

Particularly in Cô Tô Island, many schools of dolphins, whales and seagulls have appeared from 2023 until now.

Most recently, on January 20, a group of about 30 dolphins emerged and swam for a long time on the sea surface in the Cô Tô Island area.

The presence of dolphins in the waters of Vân Đồn, Cô Tô, Móng Cái and Hạ Long may be an indication that the marine environment here has improved.

Many people see this as a positive signal for Quảng Ninh's efforts to protect the environment to attract marine life. - VNS
