AN GIANG — Construction began on the Sao Mai Tây Cái Dầu New Urban Area project worth VNĐ1.2 trillion (US$52 million) in An Giang Province last Sunday (July 12).
Covering 62 ha, the New Urban Area is located in Cái Dầu Town in Châu Phú District.
Sao Mai Group Corporation (Sao Mai Group) is the project’s developer.
Trần Thanh Nhã, chairman of the provincial People’s Committee, said the new urban area will create a driving force for the development of the province’s western region.

The project will include a trading and service area, market, parks, villas, townhouses, commercial townhouses, office buildings and areas for cultural, physical training and sport activities.
