HCM CITY Agricultural company Lộc Trời Group on Thursday signed a contract with Citek Technology Vietnam to instal the world’s leading enterprise resource planning solution, SAP S/4HANA.

SAP builds the solution on HANA, the advanced in-memory computing platform (data stored on main memory instead of disk for faster access) that enables the system to operate and get access to real-time data.

It is expected to help Lộc Trời improve the effectiveness of its planning and management of business activities.

It will help the board of directors supervise key performance indicators and make timely decisions.

It will take Citek 10 months to instal and test it.

In the first phase, the company plans to use SAP S/4HANA in its agricultural supplies division and functional units before expanding it company-wide and to its affiliate companies.

Huỳnh Văn Thòn, chairman and general director of Lộc Trời Group, said the project would play an important role in achieving the company’s digital transformation and restructuring goals.

SAP S/4HANA is used in over 180 countries and territories around the world, though not many enterprises in Việt Nam use the solution due to its high cost.
