HCM CITY  — Budget carrier Viejet has opened a new ticket office in HCM City's Tân Bình District, enabling customers to check-in and use other services downtown. 

Passengers can buy add-ons and get their boarding passes after completing the check-in procedure as well as checking in their bags.

This means when they arrive at the airport, passengers can skip checking in and head straight to the security gate.

The new modern ticket office and Vietjet Plaza service complex are equipped with digital boards to inform the schedule of all Vietjet’s flights.

A free shuttle bus service for all Vietjet passengers to Tân Sơn Nhất airport operates every 15 minutes from the office on Trường Sơn Street.

The new facility is expected to reduce the overload at airport check-in counters, especially at Tân Sơn Nhất airport, bringing benefits not only for passengers but also for ground service companies, airport security, cargo and shipping units, the airline said. 

To mark the occasion, Vietjet is offering free seat selection and an additional 20kg of checked baggage for all customers using any service at the new ticket office, beside to providing customers with thousands of surprising gifts. — VNS
