HÀ NỘI — Vietnam Airlines will give away 4,000 discount codes to customers attending and buying online tickets via its website or mobile application at the Việt Nam International Travel Mart (VITM) 2019 in the Hà Nội International Exhibition Centre (ICE) from March 27 to 30.
The discount is up to 50 per cent for domestic flights and 30 per cent for international travel to other parts of Asia, Australia and Europe. The carrier reserved 36,000 seats for passengers visiting the VITM. Customers also have the opportunity to participate in other attractive incentive programmes such as the First month of good prices, Weekend Sale and preferential package of flights and hotel rooms from Vietnam Airlines and Vinpearl.
Its member budget carrier Jetstar Pacific will offer a VITM Super discount promotion with 11,000 seats for only VNĐ11,000 (excluding taxes and fees) for domestic and international flights.
Vietnam Airlines and Jetstar Pacific will co-ordinate with travel partners to introduce package tours with attractive prices for customers participating in the fair.
At the event, Jetstar Pacific will also introduce its programme "Neutralising Carbon" to minimise greenhouse gas effects. Passengers will be able to voluntarily contribute with each reservation from VNĐ8,000-VNĐ30,000 per flight. All collected money will be used to support projects at home and abroad with the aim of reducing the impact of greenhouse gasses, protecting habitats for endangered animals and supporting schools in developing countries.
With the theme "Green Tourism", the event aims to develop eco-tourism, environmental protection and climate change prevention. Opportunities and challenges of the tourism business in the time of Industry 4.0 will also be a topic of discussion.
It is expected that the event will attract more than 502 booths, 720 units from 25 countries and territories and at least 85,000 visitors. The fair is open and free for public participation from March 27. — VNS
