Processing, packaging technologies expo in HCM City in March

A wide range of products and technologies related to the processing and packaging industries will be on display at the 2019 ProPak Vietnam, a major annual exhibition, to be held in HCM City from March 19 to 21.

HCM CITY — A wide range of products and technologies related to the processing and packaging industries will be on display at the 2019 ProPak Vietnam, a major annual exhibition, to be held in HCM City from March 19 to 21.

It has attracted more than 540 exhibitors from 31 countries and territories, and there will be eight international group pavilions from Taiwan, Germany, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, China, and Italy.

The event will also welcome back many regular partners such as Đại Chính Quang, Dong IL Machinery, Fuji Machinery, Ishida, NPC VINA, Mỹ Lan Group, Huỳnh Long, OMORI, Song Song, Tam Duong, Thiên An Lộc, Turati, and VMS.

On show will be food and beverage packaging, bottling and brewing technologies; pharmaceutical processing and packaging technologies; printing materials and technologies; packaging accessories and machinery; food safety and hygiene technologies; quality control, waste management and environmental technologies, and others.

In addition to showcasing products and services, ProPak will also feature a number of seminars held by local and international associations such as the Active and Intelligent Packaging Industry Association, the Việt Nam Association of Food Science and Technology, the Multi Engineering Solution Laboratory, and the Việt Nam Association of Testing Laboratories.

There will also be a technical seminar with presentations by participating companies to give visitors a comprehensive look at this year’s innovative products.

To be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Centre, the event is expected to welcome more than 9,000 trade visitors.

BT Tee, general manager of UBM VES, the expo organiser, said: “In future editions of ProPak Vietnam we hope to further expand the scope to feature stronger printing and converting sectors and to increase the profile of beverage technologies alongside the current product range.” — VNS
