HÀ NỘI — Vietnamese automaker VinFast and the Việt Nam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) on Thursday signed a cooperation agreement on building a service chain for all VinFast products.

Under the agreement, at Petrolimex’s petrol stations, VinFast will plan to develop a service system for vehicles including charging stations and battery rentals for electric vehicles; stations for inspections, maintenance and repair of automobiles as well as electric scooters.

The two sides will also invest in roadside rest stations and convenience stores, in order to serve VinFast customers and other means of transportation.

In addition, Vingroup and Petrolimex will cooperate in the field of non-cash payments, using co-branded payment instruments VinID and Petrolimex, in combination with a capable financial institution to provide modern services for customers.
