The summit is a part of the World Economic Forum ASEAN 2018 (WEF ASEAN 2018) in Hà Nội, being held between September 11 and 13, and is the year’s biggest trade promotion conference.

It will be held on the last day of the forum and give local companies the opportunity to learn from new business models and discuss their detailed plans with potential partners, Việt Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) Chairman Vũ Tiến Lộc said at a press conference on Thursday.

The summit has also selected General Director of CitiBank, Natasha Ansell, and General Director of the budget carrier Vietjet Air, Nguyễn Thị Phương Thảo, to deliver their presentations, Lộc said.

Themed “Việt Nam – Reliable business partner: Connection and Creativity”, the summit will focus on Việt Nam’s position and opportunities in the regional and global supply chains and participants can share their experiences and practices in the fields of finance and infrastructure development, and learn from successful companies in the world.

Participants will have the latest report of Việt Nam’s economic conditions in the context of ASEAN being transformed by the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
