HÀ NỘI — The Trade Promotion Centre for Agriculture (Agritrade), Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and TikTok signed a strategic cooperation agreement to improve digital transformation capacity for the OCOP programme on Tuesday.
The Memorandum of Understanding aims to strengthen support for small and medium-sized enterprises and co-operatives in digitising trade promotion activities under the "One Commune One Product" (OCOP) programme to promote, advertise and introduce OCOP products, traditional craft villages, and rural tourism in the digital environment.
This activity contributes to the implementation of the national target programme on building new rural areas for the 2021 – 2025 period.
Within the framework of cooperation, TikTok will continue to expand the scope of implementing training courses to support digital capacity improvement for OCOP subjects in provinces of Ninh Bình, Thanh Hoá, Thái Nguyên, Huế, Lâm Đồng, at the same time, restarting the hashtag #DacSanVietNam on the platform to promote interaction and trade connection between units and consumers.
TikTok will co-host specialised training classes on how to build short video content, on the TikTok for Business set of creative advertising solutions, and set up a separate category for OCOP products on TikTok Shop e-commerce feature.
At the same time, it will coordinate with Agritrade and related agencies to develop communication programmes to promote OCOP products and related events this year. — VNS
