The World Travel Awards (WTA) 2020 unveiled its Asia 2020 winners on November 3, 2020, and once again, Sun World Fansipan Legend developed by Sun Group in Sa Pa, Lao Cai was named as "Vietnam’s Leading Tourist Attraction".

The 2020 World Tourism Awards (WTA) - Asia Gala Ceremony did not take place as usual due to the global impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, the organising committee announced the list of winners on its official website (https://www.worldtravelawards.com) at dawn on November 3, 2020 (Vietnam time). At this gala ceremony, Sun World Fansipan Legend Resort continues to retain the title of "Vietnam's Leading Tourist Attraction 2020".

As the travel industry's most prestigious awards program in the world since 1993, WTA is considered as a measure of service quality, as well as a title desired by any organisation operating in tourism and travel across the globe.  Being honoured as "Vietnam’s Leading Tourist Attraction" for two consecutive years affirms Sun World Fansipan Legend's position in Vietnam’s tourism industry, while at the same time honouring Sun Group's tireless efforts in creating first class and attractive tourist attractions capable of changing the face and position of this land.

A cable car to take visitors to the top of Fansipan

Sun World Fansipan Legend was invested by Sun Group and opened in 2016 in Sa Pa Town, Lao Cai Province.
