The company is particularly focused on addressing issues such as declining birth rates and unintended pregnancies. Nearly half of all pregnancies in Vietnam are unintended, posing significant challenges to women's health and wellbeing. These unintended pregnancies often result in unsafe abortions, contributing to maternal mortality and other health complications.

"With more than two billion people in this region, we are committed to making a world of difference in women's health every day," said Andreas Daugaard Jorgensen, Managing Director of Organon Asia Pacific. "Việt Nam's dynamic market presents a tremendous opportunity for us to contribute to the healthcare sector and improve the lives of many."

To tackle these issues, Organon has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Vietnam Population Authority. This partnership aims to improve access to contraception and reproductive health education through new digital resources and a hotline for women aged 19 to 24 years. By empowering women with knowledge and resources, Organon strives to reduce unintended pregnancies and promote safer reproductive health practices.
