Speaking at the conference, NA Vice Chairwoman Tòng Thị Phóng stressed the need to ensure transparency and equality among voters during meetings with them, adding that candidates should present their tasks and responsibilities if they win the election.

Members of the National Election Council should pay attention to performing election–related inspections, to address any difficulties in election areas.

After the third consultation meeting, agencies and organisations will organise meetings with voters for candidates to arrange electoral campaigns, which will begin when the official list of candidates is announced on April 27 and finish one day before Election Day (before 7am of May 21).
