HÀ NỘI – A South Korean traditional cultural festival will take place at the Việt Nam Art Culture Centre on September 3.
The event will offer festival goers a wide range of activities, such as an opportunity to wear the Korean traditional dress Hanbok , culinary events, folklore games and photo exhibitions.
There will be a booth where visitors can get their photographs clicked in the Hanbok dress. People will also get a chance to see and taste various Korean dishes, which will be served at Korean restaurants in Hà Nội.
Korean craft will be demonstrated at the event and visitors will be invited to join in making the craft products.
The most skilful participants will be presented with a gift.
During the event, photo exhibitions will be held introducing traditional and contemporary Korean culture, such as the folk song Arirang, K-pop, K-drama and K-food.
Some 13 traditional artists from Chuncheon City will perform at the festival. A one-hour repertoire, including a traditional and an Arirang fusion performance, will be the highlight of the event.
“I hope the festival will be an interesting destination for locals to visit during the national holidays,” Lee Dae-joong, director of the centre in Hà Nội, said. – VNS
