The Royal Citadel in the ancient city of Huế will remain open at night (from 7pm to 10pm daily) from April 22 to September 15 this year.
Tickets cost VNĐ120,000 for Vietnamese and VNĐ150,000 for foreigners, Phan Thanh Hải, director of the Huế Monuments Conservation Centre, said.
A night tour of the citadel means tourists can avoid the scorching summer sun and also admire the place from a different perspective.
Just like during the day, in the evening too royal ceremonies, music and martial arts are performed. — VNS
