HÀ NỘI — Defending champions Thái Sơn Nam will face Cao Bằng FC in the opening match of the National Futsal HDBank Cup on Friday in the northern province of Quảng Ninh.

They are among eight teams who advanced to the final round.

After a draw held on Thursday, three other matches will see Hải Phương Nam play Sài Gòn FC, Sanatech Sanets Khánh Hòa face Thái Sơn Bắc and host TTH Green Quảng Ninh take on Sanna Khánh Hòa.

They will compete in a knock-out format. The winners will advance to the semi-finals. The final match is scheduled for November 27.

According to the organisers, preparation for the tournament was well done. The best referees were called to take charge of the tournament, so viewers should expect to watch quality matches. — VNS
