Two provinces to host VN volleyball tourney

The northern province of Nam Định and the central province of Quảng Bình will host the first round of the National Volleyball Championships on March 21-28, the Việt Nam Volleyball Federation has announced.

HÀ NỘI — The northern province of Nam Định and the central province of Quảng Bình will host the first round of the National Volleyball Championships on March 21-28, the Việt Nam Volleyball Federation has announced.

Nam Định held the International Volleyball Tournament, VTV Cup in 2004 and 2005, while Quảng Bình are known for their love of volleyball.

The event will attract the participation of 12 male teams, including Sanet Khánh Hòa, Army Corps 4 - Becamex, Long An and Maseco HCM City. It will also feature 12 female teams, such as Vietinbank, VTV Bình Điền Long An, Vĩnh Phúc and Quảng Ninh.

Last year, the first round was held in the northern provinces of Yên Bái and Hải Dương. — VNS
