HÀ NỘI — No 1 seeded doubles duo Lý Hoàng Nam of Việt Nam and Ti Chen of Chinese Taipei advanced to the semi-finals of the Việt Nam Men’s Futures F9 tennis competition in Bình Dương Province.
The mixed nationality pair needed only 44 minutes to defeat Vietnamese duo Lê Công Tiễn and Trịnh Linh Giang 6-2, 6-1 in the doubles event.
Today, they will play No 3 Karol Drzewiecki and Maciej Smola from Poland who won their quarter-final match after Congsup Congcar of Thailand and Victor Poncelet of Belgium retired.
No 4 Nam will also challenge his teammate Trịnh Linh Giang in the singles pool.
