HÀ NỘI — Nguyễn Thị Thật ensured that she was the best cyclist of the National Women’s Cycling Tournament, An Giang Television Cup yesterday.

Thật cycled to her second win in the fifth stage from Trà Vinh City to Cần Thơ City with a time of 3hr 13.19min.

During the 101km race, Thật of Hạt Ngọc Trời crew grabbed five more points to make it 101 in total and won the green jersey although there is still a stage left.

Namkung Soyoung and Kim Hyunji of South Korea came second and third in this stage.

Thật’s win also strengthened her top position in the overall ranking. She was followed by Phạm Thị Thúy Liên of VUS HCM City and South Korean An Seonjin.

South Korea topped the team ranking with a total time of 39:04.53, Biwase Bình Dương were second and Hạt Ngọc Trời third.

The final stage today is from Cần Thơ to Vĩnh Long City over a distance of 61km. — VNS
