Lý Hoàng Nam entered the second round of the India F3 Futures tennis tournament yesterday.

The Vietnamese defeated Hardeep Singh Sandhu of the host country 6-3, 6-3 in the men’s singles event.

Unseeded Nam will next play No 5 seed Rawat Sidharth, another Indian player. Sidharth beat Thai Puriwat Chatpatcharoen 6-1, 7-6 (7) in his first round match.

The tournament which provides US$10,000 to the winners will close on May 15. VNS
