Việt Nam in group A for Asian volleyball event

Việt Nam will be in Group A with Thailand, Iran and Chinese Taipei in the upcoming Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship, according to the event’s draw held on Sunday in the northern province of Ninh Bình.

HÀ NỘI —Việt Nam will be in Group A with Thailand, Iran and Chinese Taipei in the upcoming Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship, according to the event’s draw held on Sunday in the northern province of Ninh Bình.

Group B includes China, South Korea, Kazakhstan and Japan.

The tournament will be held in the northern province of Vĩnh Phúc on September 14-20.

The event will be broadcast live on the SMMSport channel of Thailand and Việt Nam’s VTC channel.

Việt Nam ranked fifth at last year’s event. — VNS
