HÀ NAM — Thái Sơn Nam successfully defended their title as National Women's Futsal Champions, securing a flawless record with a 3-1 victory over Hà Nội in the final match today in Hà Nam Province.

Led by a double from Trịnh Nguyễn Thanh Hằng and another goal from Lê Thị Thanh Ngân, Thái Sơn Nam dominated the match. Hà Nội's lone goal came from Bùi Thị Thương in the first half.

With five wins and a draw, Thái Sơn Nam amassed 16 points, clinching their third championship title.

In the other match, Phong Phú Hà Nam defeated HCM City 2-1 to secure third place. Nguyễn Thùy Linh's early goal and Đào Thị Ngân's second-half strike gave Hà Nam the lead. HCM City fought back but managed only a late goal from Danh Lâm Kim Phụng.

Despite the loss, HCM City maintained second place with eight points, while Hà Nam finished with seven points in third place.

In this year's tournament, the Thái Sơn Nam also won the Fair-play and individual awards.

Thanh Hằng was the MVP; Lê Thị Nam Ngân shared the Top Scorer with Trần Thị Thùy Trang of HCM City with eight goals each; Ngô Thị Thùy Linh was voted the Best Goalkeeper. VNS
