2 Lao men held for smuggling heroin

Border guards in the central Thanh Hóa Province have arrested two Lao nationals for trying to smuggle 69 cakes of heroin across the border.

 

600 drug addicts break out of Đồng Nai rehab centre

Around 600 drug addicts escaped from a rehabilitation centre in Đồng Nai Province’s Xuân Lộc District late last night, and caused havoc on and around National Highway 1, blocking traffic, rioting and looting. More than 300 have returned the centre this morning.

Japan to fund VN transport, health projects
