HCM CITY — Nearly 150 volunteers on Thursday donated over 100 units of blood in an effort to provide health facilities with blood supplies for medial treatments and emergencies.

The event was organised by Frasers Property Vietnam, a multinational owner-operator-developer of real estate products and services, in collaboration with the Việt Nam Red Cross Society. It attracted building tenants at the Mê Linh Point Tower, including family and friends of many office executives.

Lim Hua Tiong, CEO of Frasers Property Vietnam, said: “There has been a growing demand for blood donations amid the pandemic. Through our blood donation drive, we hope to raise awareness of this good cause and inspire others to become donors, as well as do our part to give back to the community.”

Helen Nguyen, a tenant at Mê Linh Point Tower, said: “I am glad that our office building provides the opportunity for my colleagues and I to take part in a charitable and meaningful event.” — VNS
