At present, more than 72,500 people are under quarantine at different locations including hospitals, their homes and specialist centres.

So far 144 out of the 258 people with the virus have made a full recovery.

Yesterday just one case was recorded, a 47-year-old woman from Hạ Lôi Village, Mê Linh Commune, Mê Linh District in Hà Nội.

There are currently 114 patients undergoing treatment. Thirteen of them tested negative for SARS-CoV-2 virus for the first time and 12 of them were tested negative for the second time.

The National Steering Committee for COVID-19 prevention and control on Saturday sent an urgent letter to provincial and municipal departments of health urging them to properly prepare for testing.
