Photos from a couple’s wedding album have been causing quite a stir online. The newlyweds, from HCM City, posed in matching prison uniforms to mark their nuptials. However, some social media users failed to see the funny side.
Titled ‘Life imprisonment’, the album depicted the transformation of the couple – from lovebirds to jailbirds.
The images showed the couple, in prison stripes, engrossed in hard labour in a vegetable patch.
This unique set of wedding photos quickly attracted attention online. As well as positive reactions, many thought the idea was “over the top”.
“I personally feel this wedding album is offensive and uninteresting. It seems that the two main characters are playing a bit too much.” One comment read.
Another person jokingly said, “Oh my god... it is so funny when a couple goes to jail.”
In response to the controversy and questions, the bride and groom didn’t offer feedback, other than saying they made the costumes themselves.
Wedding photos are important for newlyweds. They not only mark an important milestone, from strangers to family members, but also serve as beautiful memories.
