HÀ NỘI — The Hà Nội Transport Corporation (Transerco) on Tuesday introduced four new bus routes to strengthen links with suburban areas.

Routes 110 to 113 will connect urban areas, populated areas and suburban districts which still lack access to buses with the aim of helping people travel more easily and conveniently.

Bus route 110 will connect Sơn Tây bus station in Sơn Tây Township to Ba Vì-Đá Chông National Park in Ba Vì District.

Each bus can carry a maximum of 60 passengers and a one-way ticket will cost VNĐ7,000 (US$0.30), with one bus running every 20-25 minutes.

Bus route 111 runs every 25 minutes between Sơn Tây bus station and Sơn Tây Township-Bất Bạt with the ticket price of VNĐ8,000 per trip.

Meanwhile route 112, running every 15-30 minutes, will link Bắc Thăng Long Industrial Zone in Đông Anh District to Mê Linh General Hospital in Mê Linh District with price of VNĐ7,000.

Route 113 will go from An Mỹ Village in Đại Thắng Commune to Vườn Chuối Wharf in Phú Xuyên District. The bus can transport 30 passengers and will run every 20 minutes at a price of VNĐ7,000.

In 2018, Transerco opened a series of new bus routes to increase coverage in Hà Nội’s suburban areas under the direction of the Hà Nội People’s Committee. — VNS
