TÂY NINH — The Xuyên Á Hospital Investment Joint-Stock Company on Wednesday held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new Xuyên Á General Hospital in Gò Dầu District in Tây Ninh Province.
This will be the fourth hospital of the Xuyên Á Hospital Investment Joint Stock Company, with investment of VNĐ1.2 trillion (US$53 million).
The project’s first phase will include a 10-storey building and medical examination and treatment area, expected to be put into operation by 2020, while the second phase will include construction of a heart and nerve centre.
Xuyên Á Hospital will have a total area of 41,000sq m, with 1,000 beds. It will serve 2,000 - 3,000 outpatients and 1000 inpatients per day.
The hospital will have 25 clinical and sub-clinical departments, and 18 operating rooms that meet the international standard.
In addition, the hospital will be equipped with a multi-slice CT scanner, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machine, digital subtraction angiography (DSA) and other advanced diagnostic and examination machines.
The hospital is expected to provide the most advanced medical services for low-income people in the province. — VNS
