HCM CITY— FrieslandCampina Vietnam and the Central Council of Hồ Chí Minh Young Pioneer Organisation are jointly organising a training course for implementation of the Milk Drinking-Exercising- Healthy Programme for 40 primary school teachers in Đà Nẵng who are in charge of making plans and managing activities for the organisation.
The training is a part of a larger programme on nutrition education and physical development which the company is carrying out throughout the country in collaboration with the Red Cross.
The teachers were taught about nutrition and measures for the comprehensive development of children by nutritionists from the Đà Nẵng University of Medical Technology and Pharmacy.
They were also taught how to communicate effectively.
This month the trainees will talk about nutrition to their students, transmitting the message about four groups of nutrients and having three meals, two glasses of milk and one hour of physical exercise each day.
A communication contest on the Milk Drinking- Exercising- Healthy programme for primary school students will be held in central provinces and cities of Quảng Nam, Quảng Ngãi, Quảng Trị, Huế, Đà Nẵng, and Bình Định.
The contest will include a short skit on this issue.
