HÀ NỘI — The 4th Hanoi Agricultural Festival 2025 officially opened on the evening of June 26 at the Lạc Long Quân Flower Garden in Tây Hồ, Hà Nội, and will run through June 29.

The event is organised by the Hanoi Department of Agriculture and Environment, with the Hanoi Agricultural Promotion Center as the lead agency, in collaboration with the Tây Hồ District People’s Committee.

The Hanoi Agricultural Festival serves as both a trade connection hub and a cultural rendezvous.

According to Mr. Nguyễn Đình Hoa, Deputy Director of the Hà Nội Department of Agriculture and Environment, this year’s festival aims to spotlight the production of craft village products, OCOP (One Commune, One Product) items, and outstanding rural industrial goods from the capital city and other provinces and cities nationwide.

The festival also serves as a vibrant platform to celebrate and promote the culinary and cultural diversity of regions across Việt Nam.

The festival features 120 booths from nearly 100 businesses, not only from Hà Nội but also from 25 provinces and cities including Phú Thọ, Ninh Bình, Cần Thơ, Lào Cai, Tuyên Quang, Hưng Yên, Đà Nẵng, Thái Nguyên, Yên Bái, Sơn La, Quảng Ninh, Hải Phòng, and others.

More than 1,000 product lines are on display, including agricultural produce, local specialties, OCOP-certified goods, and high-quality handicrafts—all with clear origin traceability, proper labeling, and standard packaging.

These products are presented in an open-space setting designed with themed miniatures and models to promote Hà Nội’s rural culture, tourism, and agricultural identity. Visitors can also enjoy a variety of activities such as product tasting, on-site experiences, and cultural showcases.

In addition, the Hanoi Cooperative Alliance is collaborating to organise a weekend fair with around 20 booths to promote and introduce processed agricultural products made by cooperatives. The initiative aims to support cooperatives in connecting with urban consumers and expanding their markets.

Throughout the festival, a range of sideline activities will be held to attract visitors, including live demonstrations of traditional craft products and OCOP goods, regional food and culture showcases, on-site product sampling, and photo opportunities at themed check-in areas. VNS
