960 new coronavirus cases confirmed in Việt Nam

 Việt Nam on Tuesday announced 960 new COVID-19 infections nationwide, all locally transmitted.

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam on Tuesday announced 960 new COVID-19 infections nationwide, all locally transmitted.

The national caseload since the start of the pandemic now stands at 10,727,005.

The capital city of Hà Nội still topped the country with 192 transmissions, followed by Yên Bái (67) and Phú Thọ (55).  

Other new infections were found in Đà Nẵng (54), Nghệ An (48), Hải Phòng (42), Vĩnh Phúc (40), HCM City (35), Hải Dương (35), Lào Cai (34), Bắc Ninh (31), Hòa Bình (28), Quảng Ninh (25), Tuyên Quang (24), Thái Nguyên (22), Thái Bình (18), Sơn La (18), Quảng Bình (16), Bắc Kạn (16), Quảng Trị (15), Hà Tĩnh (15), Hà Nam (14), Hà Giang (12), Lạng Sơn (11), Hưng Yên (10), Nam Định (10), Lâm Đồng (10), Bắc Giang (9), Thanh Hóa (9), Bình Phước (8 ), Điện Biên (6), Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu (6), Cao Bằng (6), Bình Thuận (5), Gia Lai (3), Ninh Bình (3), Khánh Hòa (2), Đồng Nai (2), Cà Mau (2), Kiên Giang (1) and Cần Thơ (1).

No deaths were reported. 

A further 9,309 patients were given the all-clear, taking the total number of recoveries to 9,523,290.

More than 222.2 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines have been administered in the country to date. — VNS
