HÀ NỘI — General Secretary of the Communist Party of Việt Nam Central Committee (CPVCC) Nguyễn Phú Trọng was elected President for the 2016-21 tenure at a plenum of the 14th National Assembly’s sixth session in Hà Nội on Tuesday.
