Việt Nam wishes to enhance Canada partnership

Việt Nam always treasures and wishes to strengthen its comprehensive partnership with Canada in an effective and practical manner, President Trần Đại Quang told the outgoing Canadian Ambassador to Vietnam Ping Kitnikone on Thursday.

HÀ NỘI — Việt Nam always treasures and wishes to strengthen its comprehensive partnership with Canada in an effective and practical manner, President Trần Đại Quang told the outgoing Canadian Ambassador to Việt Nam, Ping Kitnikone on Thursday.

Quang said he is pleased with the comprehensive and significant development of the countries ties in the past, noting the two countries have shared a number of interests in bilateral relations as well as at regional and global forums.

Ambassador Kitnikone stressed the establishment of the Việt Nam-Canada comprehensive partnership has created a foundation for the two nations to expand their relations in all fields, from politics and defence-security to education-training, science-technology, and people-to-people exchange. — VNS
